Radical
changes are abound throughout the aviation and aerospace
industries. A convergence of technologies, marketplace
demand, and rapidly evolving socio-technical systems, all, are
contributing to dramatic changes in educational approaches,
basic and applied research, and product
design.
At
Aerospace Enterprises, we understand the value of
research. Aircraft design, propulsion systems, avionics,
flight training, air traffic systems, and airport development
are but a few very important examples of areas where
purposive R&D has contributed to significant
advancement.
Current
R& D projects include:
Technological
Integration of Air Traffic Systems (TIATS). A
public/private consortium designed to facilitate the integration
of disparate technological and socio-technical systems.
Basic
to Advanced International Flight Instruction (BAIFI).
A public/private initiative to optimize international pilot
training. Within a compressed training period, pilot
graduates are expected to demonstrate performance and leadership
skills that exceed current global norms.
