Program
Management is the simultaneous management of multiple
projects. Usually, there is an interrelationship between
projects -- or at the very least, a portfolio logic related to
the program initiative.
Such
initiatives involve large or complex systems and must consider
important issues such as competing projects, political
constraints, or organizational readiness.
Notwithstanding the level of complexity, projects must be
controlled and results delivered within planned time and cost
limitations. Effectively managing the myriad of competing forces
requires skilled program management and execution.
At
Aerospace Enterprises, we pay particular attention to
understanding how value will be added to client operations
before portfolio operations begin. Expected outcomes are
defined and progress benchmarks established. Towards this
end, all engagements are executed using best practice
development methods. Such practices ensure program
visibility and client control. Control gates precede each
major phase ensuring a transparent and client controlled
project.
